I had this little bag of pink dye that Diana had given me for almost a year now waiting to be used so I finally used it this weekend.

I’ve used the entire bag and for the mordent I used a cup of vinegar and I let it absorb for more or less 3 hours.
I didn’t used boiling water because I was afraid to felt the wool so instead I’ve used warm water that stayed under the sun in the backyard the entire time.

I really liked it. The result was better than when I dyed with the onions and I’m already dreaming with new experiences.

  1. Wow, the dyeing process sounds so much fun - especially staying in sunlit backyard :) I adore the photo of the wool on the sheep statue, you really have the most brilliant ideas for stageing things for photography. You should really work for a magazing or website as photographer/photography director.
